Can I share my two-day pass with a colleague? 

Two-day passes are for individual use and can only be used by one person. If you wanted to each attend one day of the conference, you should purchase two individual day passes. 


Can I use my CIOF organisational membership number to purchase a member pass?

Membership passes are only available to those who are individual members of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, not organisational. Your membership number will be required at the time of booking and should begin with a number not a letter.

What payment options are there when booking passes? 

You have the option to pay online via our online payment gateway, or you can select the option to raise an invoice which will be due for payment within 30 days of the issue date unless otherwise stated. 

How do I amend my booking?

You can amend your booking online by using the links provided within your confirmation email. All final name changes must be submitted before 11am on Friday the 18 September. We are unable to accept any name changes after this point.

Need a safe space? 


CIOF Scotland recognises that busy event environments can be overwhelming for some attendees due to noise, crowds, and constant stimulation.

To support wellbeing, a neurodivergent lounge will be available as a calm, low-stimulation space where neurodivergent attendees can take a moment to decompress and recharge located in the Boardroom on the 1st Floor. 


Do I need to pre-book which sessions I would like to attend? 

Sessions do not need to be pre-booked. As some sessions do get busy, if there is a particular session you are keen to attend, we advise you arrive at the session early to secure your seat.

How to get to he venue?

Situated on Cambridge Street, a two-minute walk from Sauchiehall Street, or a 10-minute walk from both Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street Train stations.


Glasgow Airport is 7 miles away; it is approx. £35 by taxi, or there are frequent buses into the city centre. The 500 Airport Express bus will take you into Buchanan Street bus station, just a short walk from the hotel.


Please allow plenty of time to arrive at the hotel.

What measures are in place to ensure my safety? 

Everyone attending the event will have agreed to abide by the Chartered Institute of Fundraising Code of Behaviour for Training and Events.

Does the hotel have car parking?

There are 200 spaces available onsite in the basement of the hotel, chargeable at £12 for up to 10 hours for delegates. The entrance to the car park is at the rear of the hotel. It operates ANPR technology, so delegates must ensure they register their vehicle details at reception upon arrival.

There are also other car parks nearby should you wish to park elsewhere, such as the Cambridge Street, Concert Square, and Buchanan Galleries car parks. Please note Glasgow introduced a LEZ zone in the city centre in June 2023.

What is the dress code for the Awards Dinner? 

The evening is smart or formal dress.


Can I request to sit with someone at the Awards Dinner? 

You can email the event support team with your request however please note we cannot guarantee these will be met.

 

What food and refreshments are available at the event?

We will provide rolling water, tea and coffee throughout the day, including milk alternatives. It is encouraged to bring a reusable flask and/or water bottle to help reduce waste.


How accessible is the event?

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

The hotel is accessible, and the conference primarily takes place on the lower level with some sessions on the 8th floor which can be accessed by a lift.

Are there accessible toilets nearby?

There is an accessible toilet on the lower level in the foyer area.

Is there disabled car parking?

The hotel has accessible car parking available.
